Robots to Guard Schools
I was going to say “obviously nobody working at DU Robo has kids”, but then I realized they’re on the receiving end of the $100K/robot toy that will be running around the floor of a middleschool filled with rowdy children…
I want the video of “hey kid, put the robot down now! hey! this is not a toy!”.
Video Dog Does Tricks
Type in a command and see what happens:
sit, roll over, down, stand, speak, dance, shake, fetch, play dead, jump etc.
It’s also cute if you type in a command that’s not recognized.
Really Dull

“Goggling In” – Myvu Personal Media Viewer, iPod edition
Any Neil Stephenson / William Gibson fans should recognize the Myvu Personal Media Viewer:

Now you can “goggle in” to your iPod, turning it into a portable movie theater.
For only $299.95 you get a big-screen movie floating in front of you with stereo sound that is probably better than a movie theater (headphones). They say you can see around it and multi-task. I say forget that – turn out the lights and submerge yourself in the movie! I have yet to try one, but the reviews so far say it’s spectacular.
For more info, go to the apple store and search for “myvu”. Get a pair for me too while you’re at it, ‘k?
