Bob-Kitty Sightings 2

with one comment

I’m driving back to the house tonight, and what should I see in the headlights under a rediculously large SUV in front of my house, but a large orange cat! It ran. I got flashlight. Judy and I searched, and she saw two glowing eyes in the distance. Sure enough, Bob-Kitty was staring at us from the neighbor’s steps. He ran before we could get him, but at least I know he’s alive and doing ok.

  1. I always thought that if we were a little smaller, cats would eat us. They don’t exactly have the same type of loyalty as that exhibited by dogs.

I also don’t think Cats are domesticated. If a dog runs away, it was because it got lost having fun, but if he sees you he is happy to see you. With a Cat, if they see you, they try to find a better hiding spot.

You also can’t really fight with a cat the way you can fight with a dog. Dogs will bark at you but its in jest, cats will just scratch you – they don’t believe in frivolity.

Dogs appreaciate what you do for them. They show gratitude that you give them food.

With cats, what exactly is the payoff? They are the French of the animal kingdom. They take your food and act resentful of your generosity.

If you hit a dog with your car, you feel guilty. If you hit a cat, its worth 10 points!
