Break Music.com
So I just saw the new billboard for “buymusic.com” last night. I must say I’m impressed at the accuracy of their advertising. For those that haven’t seen it, it’s a knock-off of the AppleMusic.com ad with the electric guitar. On the buymusic.com ad, it’s the same guitar, but broken.
And that is perfect. BuyMusic.com is the Apple Music Store, but broken.
Just to test their truth in advertising, I tried the site. Yup – broken. Platform and browser specific. Hope you like IE 5+ on Winblowz. UNIX? Linux? Mozilla? Sorry – we only accept broken technology here.
So for those still unfortunate enough to not be on a Mac, there’s still Kazaa, eDonkey, and Gnutella. Or http://store.apple.com/
